"Where did Kai go?" I asked in curiosity, and the girl looked at me a bit confused herself. "You mean you don't know where he went? After all that traveling with him?" She replied and I shook my head to her answer, "He didn't talk that much in the travel, at least I don't think.."
"Don't think what do you mean, you don't think? You don't remember what Kai said to you? The Journey wasn't that long I assume? Wait maybe it's part of your side effect." The Siren girl said, making me arch my blonde brows.
"What do you mean part of my Side effect?" The Siren girl for once smiled at me, brightly and pointed to her pink and brown faded hair.
"You see my hair, it's brown at the top and pink at the bottom, it fades in. It's part of our side effect as I call us The Color Sirens.
I've been observing all of the effects of us as Sirens and so far one of the effects is our color changing hair. The more we stay in the ocean the more we start to forget simple things, some more than others.
Also, we have this thing with our effect in which our powers go mad crazy when we get near something that can trigger our past memory. When that happens we crave for the thing that's triggering us, almost like a crazy addiction that we have to have and can't avoid. Interesting right? I wrote most of what I said down in a journal I found, just in case I started to forget..But, lately it seems I've been fine, so I wrote that down too."
The Siren girl said putting out her hand, "Oh and to introduce myself even though Kai already kinda did, I'm Searena. Spelled S E A R E N A, spelled how it sounds actually pretty neat aye?" I nodded in response sounding the name out in my head, S E A R E N A, Searena! Woah, it actually is kinda neat and interesting actually I never heard anyone's name spelled like that.
"It is kinda cool, so um, are we the only Sirens? Kai, Me, and You? Or is it more of us?" I asked in curiosity as Searena waved her pink sparkling tail around in the water. It seemed she was a bit distracted by her tail in fact and I don't even think she heard me.
"Hey um Searena, are there other-!" She looked up at me in a bit of annoyed face and then clapped her hands together with a smile. "Oh, sorry sometimes I daydream a bit, but I heard you Lililliy! And, the answer to your question is yes, two, two more other Sirens are in this Ocean with us."
My eyes grew wide and I felt my heart sink into my pale chest, were these Sirens a threat!? Have Kai and Searena met them?! How did they-I stopped myself from panicking and took a deep breath. "Do you know-!"
Searena interrupted me to say, "The other two Sirens should actually be coming really soon. They actually just went to catch some food for the group to eat and-.."
Searena continued to ramble and a part of me was listening. Until, I saw two shadowy figures headed near us. Were they the other two Sirens Searena were talking about? Or are they just some unexpected, unwanted visitors that we would have to deal with.
I said taking a deep breath, balling my fist in defense. I felt ready for anything for some reason. Even ready to kill.
