"Where are we going?" Axis said with a confused face, Ashleah on the other hand with all smiles plastered on her face giggled as she fixed the cape that was hiding her face from other people.
"Try calming down for a bit and wait for Nash to go back here with the tickets!" She exclaimed while looking around, Ashleah sighed and slowly massaged her closed eyelids. This are the times she wished she had a phone with her.
Everything looked beautiful, majestic, and it was really something that she wished won't ever fade away. It was the happiness and the enjoyment of the people around her, it was something that she hadn't seen for years.
Ashleah had to admit, she was still in the process of remembering everything. Though it wasn't that much faster than she thought it would be, it was still a big help for her in times that she was in trouble.
"Hey." Nash suddenly pipped out of nowhere making the two almost scream their lungs off, Ashleah quickly covered Axis' and her lips as they inhaled and exhaled fast. "Oh! HAHAHA I'm sorry, I didn't give it that much thought that you guys would be that surprised."
Ashleah showed him her middle finger a bit, of course Axis saw it too but being the innocent man he was and since the middle finger wasn't that inappropriate before, he didn't knew what it meant. Of course, he was curious so Axis did the same with his middle finger earning a huge amount of laughter from the two.
"My, I really don't get it. Why are you laughing?" With his left brow raised and his right brow was quiet furrowed, awkward smile on his lips. Axis was completely confused. "Oh come on you two. Stop laughing!"
Nash quickly tried to refrain himself from laughing, the man fixed his posture and gave out their tickets. There were a total of 3 tickets for each and one of them. "I bet Ashleah never told you what we're going to watch." He blurted out for he knew how Ashleah loved teasing Axis.
"Oh, I didn't?" The Princess blinked her eyes while getting the ticket from Nash as she looked at Axis who was pouting his cute lips and completely ignoring her eyes. "Axis come on, Princess is sorry AHAHAHA!"
"It's my first time seeing someone saying sorry while laughing." Axis said still keeping up the tantrum like he was a 8 year old kid. This was their everyday life to be honest.
"Come on. Let's get going." Nash said as he gave them a warm smile and fixed his cape so that no one can see them, the trio started walking on their way to the stage where they are planning to watch a play.
"Where are we going to sit?" Axis whispered at the both of them, Ashleah roamed her eyes trying to find a space where there were no human beings-
"There!" The princess quickly pointed out but received a groan from Nash, The duke quickly ruffled his cape lightly and gave her the 'Are you even serious?' look. Ashleah being confused, still nodded her head.
"Right in front?" Nash said, like he was surprised that the princess picked that place for them to sit down.
"Stop bashing me Nash and just sit down, I bet Axis is excited. Is it your first time watching a stage play in the streets?" Ashleah completely avoided the upcoming fight if she continued to argue with Nash.
"Yes! Oh, it's your first time too right?"
"Let's just go the play is starting" Nash said, the trio quickly sat in front. Axis was giggling happily. As the red curtains started to move and the music started playing from the orchestra behind it. It was something that Ashleah felt like it was nostalgic.
As the play continued, no one saw it coming. As they heard a roar that was almost deafening, the ground started to shake earning a chaotic screaming and the commoners started to run everywhere. Ashleah, Axis, and Nash's eyes widened.
The roar became louder, Ashleah was about to run away when she saw a little girl crying while hugging a new bought doll, the princess quickly ran to her. As Nash saw how Ashleah ran to the little girl, he saw what kind of beast was making the deafening roars, and it was near the princess and the small girl.
"Watch out!" Nash quickly ran and pulled them both away, the huge beast-- no, it was a monster to be exact. His breathing hitched when the roars started to become louder and louder. Axis ran to them even though he knew that he himself was scared of what was in front of them.
His big and gigantic black and red body, his two hands were hug and his two foots too. His claws were deadly as ever. His large nostrils were exhaling smoke, with his bright red deadly eyes, and horn that was even darker than his own skin, his spade was wagging uncontrollably, wings were spread and ready to fly and kill them all, it was something that Ashleah thought she would only see and read on stories. It was a..
"How come there's a dragon!?" Ashleah screamed as they quickly tried to run for their lives, but the dragon roared again making the small girl that was in Nash's arms cry her heart out. "My, little girl please do no-"
Suddenly, they heard a loud crash, when Axis looked back his eyes widened for he saw how the dragon started to swing his spade, obviously creating a massacre and destroying the houses near it.
"We got to find a safe place for the kid and then fight the dragon-" Ashleah couldn't even finish what she was saying when Nash with the surprised face looked at her and interrupted her plan.
"Ashleah, are you even in your right mind!? We can possibly fight a dragon! And enormous dragon to be exact." He said as they continued to run away from the dragon who was still in the state of roaring.
"Are we even sure that the knights will go here right now!?" Axis said as the cape that was hiding his face slipped from his hair, no one cared as they continued to run. "Try calling Prescott!"
Her eyes light and as she took a deep breath and was ready to scream "Prescott! Wake up, your master needs HELP!!" Ashleah with her closed eyes hoped that the bird heard her pleading for help as she heard how the dragon's wings started flapping.
"PRINCESS IZEL?" She quickly opened her eyes and saw Prescott with a confused gaze and was obviously showering her questions inside his head. "OH MY GOD." he said as he quickly flew to them, Ashleah was about to ask Prescott when the bird closed its eyes and suddenly there this shield around them. "I never knew that you'd get this in trouble, your highness."
"Thank God you were awake!" Nash said as he gave the kid to Axis and was trying to get out of the shield. "Prescott, let me out this instant!" The duke demanded as he started to punch the shield.
"My, Please do calm down!" Prescott said as he quickly flew right away to the dragon who continued to roar loudly. Ashleah was confused what Prescott was planning on doing. Suddenly, a loud voice with a weird language was heard.
Slowly, the dragon calmed down, Axis pointed out the knights that were running near the dragon's direction making it panic again and roar loudly, Prescott with his deadly eyes looked at the knights.
"Your highness?" Gab suddenly tapped the shield making the little girl scream. 'Oh Dear! I'm sorry for frightening you, but what are you doing here?"
Axis softly hummed for the little girl to clam down, Nash was still punching the shield, and Ashleah started to massage her forehead. "My, you responded quiet quickly huh?"
"His Majesty would probably kill us if he finds out that we don't respond quickly in things like-"
"OH CALM DOWN! NO ONE WILL HURT YOU!" Everyone looked back when they heard Prescott shout at the dragon, the dragon quickly looked down.
"What's happening?"
