Chapter 61 - HER POWERS

"A what now?" Nash blurts out. Still having this 'What am I seriously holding right now' look on his face. Ashleah could not even budge to utter a single word and waited for someone to say that it was just a joke.

"If you are thinking that this is some kind of joke-" Prescott looked at Ashleah then at Nash and shook his head. "It's not a joke. Axis did everything he can so that sword can be blessed. You should use that because everyone around you has their own power."

"Nash, do not worry. I am not looking down at you, and will never do it to you. You do know how powerful they are, I cannot risk letting them hurt my friend." Axis smiled trying to comfort Nash, the Duke nodded and looked at the black sword with it's purple flame.

"When I hold this sword, will it always do the flames like this?" He said while looking at sword closely, Ashleah stood up and quickly ran to Nash, also curiously looking at the blessed sword. She was about to touch it but Nash quickly pulled it away; earning a groan from the Princess.

Everyone chuckled. "Your highness, it is indeed better if you do not dare to touch it especially when the Duke Deoncan himself is holding the blessed sword." Prescott said, holding his master's shoulder and softly pulling her away the sword.

Her eyebrows furrowed, her eyes landed on her Father's eyes, but the man just smiled and pointed at Prescott. "Why? Is there something wrong when I dare to touch it?" Tilting her head around to face Prescott, Ashleah asked.

"We still are not sure how much power you have inside you. A normal human being might die just by touching the sword especially when Duke Deoncan is holding it and it's covered with flames." He blurts out while massaging the back of his neck.

"You're acting like the flames of my sword is not that normal." Nash blurts out. Axis was helping him putting the scabbard on, as soon as it finished Nash puts the sword inside the scabbard and flames stopped. "Well, please do explain it to me."

"When you cannot control your feelings in short when you are mad, when you hold the sword it flames, but when you are calm it does not." Prescott said, Nash and Ashleah nodded in sync. "Is that enough? Her highness should rest for now, her training will start next week, meanwhile we will start tomorrow-"

"No! I do think that I am completely fine now. So I can train with you. The sooner the better right Father?" Ashleah looked at her Father, His Majesty, Emperor Adler was about to say no but his daughter did the puppy eyes.

Sighing deeply just because his daughter knew him too well that one of his weaknesses is the Princess herself. "Yes, Ashleah can go train if she pleases to do so. I just want one thing-"

"Sure Father! Anything is okay!"

DA-DUM! Ashleah had this 'Are you serious' look on her face while looking around the training ground full of safety precautions and knights around it, obviously protecting her.

"Seriously..." She sighed out while scratching her head with pouted lips. She can even hear Axis and Prescott laughing from a far. "Why is Father like this again?" She whispered because she knew that Nash was beside her, trying his best to refrain himself from laughing too much.

"His Majesty adores Her Highness too much I guess." Nash blurts out making Ashleah puff some air and cross her arms against her chest.

"For now, let's just do not pay them attention. They still are doing their jobs that Father told them to do." Ashleah soon then swiftly pulled her sapphire blue sword from her scabbard, it was personally made for her while she was asleep for the past few days.

Nash did the same, she saw how the other knights tried to stop themselves from gasping loudly. Of course, it is their first time seeing a sword that's been blessed. Giggling, Ashleah felt relived that there were no flames at the sword, it seems like Nash is quite calm today.

"Let us start with warm-ups." Gab with Kian smiled at the four of them. They started to exercise the hell out of them. 'This was even worse running around 150 years later of my life because I was late!' Ashleah thought.

Soon after that, Prescott was now right in front of them, Nash was doing 10 laps around the training field. Prescott took a deep breath and looked at Axis and Ashleah with his dead look eyes.

"Since we still do not know how my Master can bring the powers deep within her, I will teach you the basics when I want to learn about Magic." Prescott took a deep breath, Axis and Ashleah did the same. "Calm down, close your eyes and imagine yourself covered with your magic, if you do not know what your powers are you can imagine anything that's covering you that's close to magic."

Axis imagined a white gleaming light covered him, which did really happen earning gasps from some knights. Prescott nodded his head with a smile. "He's getting quite a hang of it." he whispered, looking at his Master. Ashleah had this composed face.

Prescott was about to open his mouth, to let them stop but suddenly slowly an overwhelming feeling of power started to come from Ashleah. He quickly looked at his Master again, and saw how those 4 multiple colors covered her.

Everyone gasped, he was sure that Axis and Ashleah could not hear anyone for now because they were so deep with concentrating. Nash stopped in the middle of his laps with widened eyes.

4 multiple colors covered Ashleah, pink, blue, violet but what stood up the most was gold. His widened eyes turned at Prescott who also looked at Nash with widened eyes. "How are you going to stop them?" Nash whispered at Prescott.

"Shh! Do not disturb them. They are trying to concentrate here. Continue with your laps!" Prescott whispered back at Nash. He shook his head and continued to run for 5 more laps around the training field.

Meanwhile, Ashleah felt like she was at ease and it was warm. She slowly opened her eyes, and as soon as she opened her eyes she heard everyone gasping loudly, Axis did the same he opened his eyes.

The thing is, when Axis opened his eyes the white beaming light covering him disappeared through thin air, but it was different with Ashleah's case. VERY DIFFERENT. She opened her eyes and her powers that was covering her formed like huge angels wings making everyone gasp.

"YOUR HIGHNESS?" Axis blurts out of surprise. Ashleah blinked her eyes and looked around at everyone clueless with what's happening. "Your highness, try thinking of the powers are gone."

"Huh? Sure then.." Ashleah took a deep breath and slowly the large wings behind her that was made by her powers slowly disappeared with the unbelievable feelings that Prescott felt earlier.

HIS MASTER WAS IN A VERY DIFFERENT LEVEL! That is the main reason why the black magicians are ready to risk it all just to get Ashleah away from them. Her powers are slowly molding into pieces, she needs to be ready.

"Did you feel that tremendous power earlier?" The man asked, the other man with a cape chuckled and nodded his head looking outside the large window of their mansion with a proud smile on his face.

"That only means one thing, the Princess is slowly showing her powers slowly." He smiled before taking a sip from his red wine still with a victory smile on his face.

'Her powers are incredible really.' He thought.
