Chapter 69 - PRINCESS' SECRET

Ashleah's eyes were in flames. She gritted her teeth as soon as she felt her feet on the ground of the Imperial Palace. The maids and footman stopped. "Where are they?"

Her voice sent shivers down their spine. Nash with his sword has the flames of purple making them walk away from it. Pointing at where the incident happened. the Princess nodded her head before quickly walking to its direction.

She then saw Blake on the ground and the Royal Doctor trying to help them stop him from bleeding. Aziel getting carried away by Prince Lovis under the orders of the Emperor. Prescott was going to run after the one who shoot the bow to Blake but he stopped when he felt like there was someone digging holes behind his back.

"M-Master!?" Prescott widened his sky blue eyes as soon as he saw Ashleah. The Princess did not greet him back nor smiled. "T-The news did spread quite fast-"

"Prescott, find where the culprit's running now."

"Pardon?" He blinked his eyes a couple of times.

"Prescott, did I stutter?" She replied coldly, in moments like this she cannot show any weaknesses since there are possibilities that there are enemies lurking around them. Those are the things she learned while training non stop.

"No, I will right away." Prescott blurts out as soon as he knew what she was trying to say. Closing his eyes, he saw a man running away. A small smirk made up its way to his lips as he opened it and told the man's location to his Master. "Near the Garden, running away-"

"Duke Deoncan, hold on tight. Prescott he cannot get inside the Palace without anyone helping him. Find that person, right here, right now. I gave Cason a heads up, they are now on their way too."

Prescott nodded his head. Ashleah yet again disappeared with Nash. She was now inside the Garden. "Nash, here's the plan." She started to whisper what the plan she came up with.

"Are you really sure that you can do it?" Nash whispered back, Ashleah smirked and shrugged it off before flying up to the sky. The Duke hid behind one of the large bushes as soon as he heard footsteps closer.

"Ah, I did not know that the Princes were here!" He groaned and ran again, but before he could even run away out of the garden, Nash walked right in front of him.

"Looks like there's a rat trying to run away from it's cage huh?" He smirked, pointing the tip of his sword at the man. The man did not waver any fear, but smirked back at the Duke.

"The rumors are true huh? A blessed sword for the blessed man." he laughed pathetically at the Duke. "I do bid my farewells to you, Duke Deoncan." He said and was about to blast off his magic to the Duke.

"Do you really think I would show up here without any back-ups?" Nash said before the man felt like there was the magical feeling around him. Looking up as he heard the giggles of a familiar voice, he quivered.

"Th-The Princess." His eyes widened, trying to break the magical glass that felt like it was some kind of cage that Ashleah made for him. "No! I was just payed to bring the Princess out!"

"Please do stop with the lame excuses. You already did it. And I say, it is indeed payback time, but of course. I still am the Princess and I cannot make the decisions on my own." She smiled.

"Should I call for Prescott-" Nash could not even complete what he was saying when suddenly..

"Prescott!" Ashleah called out, after a few seconds Prescott with his bird form came rushing in. "Great! Call Father please, heads up for Blake."

"Yes, Your highness- Duke!" Prescott's eyes widened when he saw another man wearing an uniform as a gardener holding a dagger and was about to stab Nash, yet he quickly turned around as his sword hits the dagger making it fly away.

"You can continue talking, I am taking care of this." Nash smiled. Finally, there was some fun happening to his boring life-

"Good luck!" Ashleah giggled before going back to the conversation she was having with Prescott. "Do not worry, I believe in him."

As the man was about to blast Nash with his magic, the sword cuts through it making everyone who was at the garden shock, except Ashleah who had a very proud smile plastered on her face.

Nash has always been like this, he was strong and he can fight. Ashleah knew that even if it looked like Nash was doing alright he still was hiding the fact that every night or some nights, the necklace still bothers him.

That he still goes missing in action and sees how they get killed. Their deaths are glued inside his mind.

"Looks like you've been looking down on me for quite some while." He said before attacking the man who continued to blast his magic at Nash, he dodged and cut threw them every blast he was giving Nash.

Ended up getting wounded and was now inside the other magic glass that Ashleah made. Prescott turned himself into a human, Ashleah was now on the ground. Emperor Adler with Gab and Kian, and the knights came rushing in.

"Ashleah!" Emperor Adler blurts out. The Princess hugged her Father tightly. "My, how you've grown."

"Is Blake alright? Is he doing fine now?" She asked, Emperor Adler nodded his head earning a sigh of relief from his daughter.

"Cason and the other white magicians are already taking care of it. I think, you already have plans with what's going to happen after this.. don't you?" The Princess smiled.

"Of course I do." She giggled before looking back at the two men they caught and raised an eyebrow sending shivers down their spine.

"Do you know why the Princess called for everyone and made us wait outside of the Imperial Palace with the commoners?"

"I actually do not also know."

Nobles and commoners continued with the gossips. Those who were living near the plaza and nobles who can actually go within the day almost ran their way to the Imperial Palace when they heard that the Imperial Princess has news.

Meanwhile, Ashleah smiled and knocked using her her knuckles at the magic glass that was currently the two's cage. "Stop being grumpy, this is just a tiny little karma for you guys."

"Let us out! You will definitely be dead meat once the Master catches you!" The man who they learned that his name was Joe, blurts out.

Prescott's eyes suddenly went red, and he quickly walked his way to Joe, was about to punch the sh*t out of the magic glass where Joe was in. Cason quickly stopped Prescott and awkwardly chuckled.

"Your Highness, please do go away from Joe and calm this man or bird down." Cason smiled at Ashleah making the Princess chuckle, she was about to console Prescott but Emperor Adler came rushing in.

"Let us start, shall we?" The Emperor smiled, Ashleah nodded her head, as they walked out of the terrace, everyone bowed their heads down as a sign of respect.

"I am very amazed, there are still quite some people even though this was an emergency call. Let me get this straight, I did not call for everyone to waste your time." Emperor Adler looked at his daughter and smiled. "You may rise, and look at what the Imperial Princess is about to do."

As they looked up, Ashleah opened her palm as her powers escaped her palm, she smiled. Yet, to those who saw it the simple thing for the Princess it was a huge impact to them.

"We have been hiding the PRINCESS' SECRET."
