Chapter 89 - THE GODS GIFTS

He puffed out a frustrated sigh, a chuckle escaped Elias' mouth as his eyes yet again met his brother's. "Are you that crazy for vengeance that you willingly will kill your brother for it?" Callum rolled his eyes before smiling giving shivers down everyone's spine.

"He indeed lost his mind within the process of revenge." Ashleah sighed as her right hand found its way to forehead, massaging it slowly using her fingers. Just by listening to the brothers conversation was stressing her out. "Cason, where is Raven? Is he on his way?" With her head tilting in a very slight way to her left where Cason was standing, her eyes still focused on the two brothers.

A soft chuckle was released from her mouth as she saw Elias losing his temper and made a black but deadly magic circle beneath him, as his palms opened and released flaming black fire earning a widened eyes, parted brows, hanging opened lips but he quickly closes his opened mouth, shaking his head aggressively before flying up to the air.

The palm of her hands found its way to her neck before massaging it, while her hands were busy massaging her neck, she turns around and gave them a small smirk. "Elias just gave us the perfect opportunity to do what Father planned for us." She looks up and saw them fighting, she quickly walked to the middle, and looked around as her eyes finally saw who was running as quickly as he can to them, holding something they have to use to complete the plan.

Flashback

Ashleah closes the main door of her Father's office and was surprised when she looked in front of her, they were waiting only for her. A nervous giggle escaped her lips. "I am late, am I not?" As those words left her mouth, The five Princes together with Nash, Axis, Cason, Prescott and her Father himself giggled.

"Ashleah, you were always the last one to arrive in times like this." His Majesty shook his head and extended out his hand, his palm opened and was pointing at the golden chair with soft red pillows on it. "Sit down and we have a matter to discuss." Walking her way to her chair, her eyes was focused on the necklace that was around Nash's neck.

Finally, she sits down. His Majesty clears his throat before standing up. "Before starting with the conversation, I want to congratulate you Axis with your upcoming coming of age ceremony tomorrow. I also want to tell you all that this stick--" He pulls out a hand sized stick, that had the color the same--Ashleah's eyes swiftly went to Nash's necklace. "This dark red stick, I was reading books earlier and saw that this stick that my Father left for me is used to seal black magicians who takes advantage of their powers but there's this twist with it."

"What is the twist with it, Your Majesty?" Nash moves and tightly grips onto the side of the chair he was sitting on. As he felt His Majesty's eyes were focused on his necklace.

"The twist is, this stick is the thing that sticks and is used as the handle of the seal. The seal is--" His Majesty smiles, rolling his tongue around his bottom lip. "The seal is the Duke Deoncan's necklace." He saw how his daughter and Duke Deoncan's expressions changed. Their calm eyes, slowly widened, the five princes eyes quickly went to Duke Deoncan's neck where the necklace was hanging.

"Father, are you not mistaken?" Ashleah stood up and her cold feet, sweating hands opened and closed together. She gulped slowly. How can this be? We can remove the necklace from Nash's neck but to use it for that? We have no assurance that it will go well nor work!

About to open her mouth and again tell His Majesty that this will not work, but to everyone's surprise- "Okay, we will do that Your Majesty." Nash who stood up, holding onto his necklace tightly making Ashleah turn her head around with a mouth hanging opened. The Emperor chuckled and clasped his hands together. "Shall we plan it all out now?" Nash blurted out.

-----------------------------------------------------

Ashleah shuts her eyes closed, sighing. How can they predict this much? Holding the stick, Nash removes the necklace from his neck. He gave Ashleah a soft smile, earning a chuckle from the Princess. They both nodded their head. Ashleah smoothly caressed the necklace with her thumb before putting it on top of the stick, where there was a small hole for the necklace.

The white magicians were around her, Cason and Axis beside her, Ashleah whispered words that no one can understand and made a huge--no an enormous and vast magic circle below them that was glowing with golden flashing smoke and yellowish lines. Elias saw that they were already starting with the plans, using with all of his strength, he opened his palm and released smoke that will blind Callum for a few minutes to buy them time.

The necklace was not still with its full color making Ashleah flustered. She releases more of her power and mana even though she knew that this might bring her danger that they do not know of but--a soft scoff escapes her lips. "It is indeed worth to sacrifice for." She slowly opened her eyes as she felt a sharp pain going across her chest, her brows twitched as she bit her lower lip seeing the necklace was only half way its full capacity to seal Callum.

Callum saw what they were doing and quickly opened his palm and fired an ambush straight attack to Ashleah but Nash who was on the side, waiting for this moment swiftly moved his body and swung his sword cutting the magic ice attack from Callum. "I won't let you touch her, Callum." A smirk went across his lips, making Callum scoff loudly and open his palm attacking Elias who had his guard down just for a second but went flying away as soon as the attack hits his body.

"Let us see about that, Duke."

-----------------------------------------------------

"Sister, do you have anything in mind?" The God of Reincarnation whispered to his sister, Ria. On the other hand, Ria had her eyes squinted looking at the huge cloud in front of them showing what the Princess was doing to seal Callum away.

"That stinky Callum never learned his lesson and—" She could not even finish what she was saying when oh so suddenly another Brother of theirs started talking.

"And the Princess she's going to die if she continues to use up all of her mana. The Princess is indeed dangerous for her own powers." The God of Earth, Ren spoke up. His long and silver white flowing hair—like all of them was floating around as he stood up from his chair and slowly walked closer to where the cloud was. "In all, we are 6 Gods. We can give them small precious gifts, should we not? We have not done that for years, I know that everyone one of us missed doing that."

"Oh! I agree with Brother Ren!" Rina, the God of Wind squealed in excitement, clasping her hands together. "My dearly beloved brothers and sisters, we should give them a gift also for our regards as an apology due to what Brother Roshan did to the poor lovers." Rina turned her head to where Roshan was, covering his face with both of his hands.

"Shall we?" Ria smiled.

-----------------------------------------------------

Ah! Finally. Ashleah sighed out of relief the moment she sees the necklace was now full, even though she was feeling a bit dizzy, she stood up straight and tall, with her chin held up high, she smiled about to open her mouth but suddenly—

-----------------------------------------------------

They opened their palms, pointing at the cloud but Ria smiled. The 5 Gods released their mana or also known as power and gave them a gift, Ria closed her eyes and gave gift in a flying kiss way as she blew it away opens her eyes and smiles. "Goodluck with the beginning of another chapter."
