Even though the leader asked this question to everyone, its eyes were staring at Axel. In fact, everyone was staring at Axel. For some reason, they believed that Axel had some idea of how they could win big this time.
"Sigh, can you tell me how you guys hunted before?", asked Axel with a sigh.
He was excited about the hunt. It was the perfect time to train his Pokemon, but he didn't want to plan it. For years, he had planned a tide battle for his team, and it was exhausting.
When he heard how they hunted, Axel hit his head with his hand on the simplicity of how they did things.
They just formed teams of 5-10 Primeapes, and those groups went on the hunt whenever they liked. Those who hunted more would be rewarded. That was all.
The tribe had around 300 members, and of those, only 200 could fight. Some of them were blacksmiths, potion masters, kids, and some of them had permanent injuries.
"Ok, this is what we will do....."

Axel gathered everyone from his team to talk. Including the five additional Primeapes, there were 17 of them in the team.
"All of you will make a team consisting of five to six members. That team will go on the hunt. You must go on the hunt every day, even if it is for 1 hour."
Axel divided the team:
Team 1: Togekiss, Koffing, Magneton, B, Bisharp, D
Team 2: Salamence, Feraligatr, Garry, Blastoise, Lucario, C
Team 3: Aerodactyl, Lairon, Staraptor, A, E
These were the teams that Axel had planned. Axel felt that Team 2 was noticeably stronger than the other teams, so he transferred C to Team 3.
"Koffing, if you wish, you can only go on the hunt for one hour, even when your team wants to hunt for a long time."
Koffing had a battle coming up in a month, and while real-life battle experience was important, it needed to improve on a lot of things.
"This is a test for all of you. All of you will select a leader of the team and also come up with multiple strategies on how to handle this hunt. Then you will explain your strategy to me. The winning team will get a reward from me personally."
After hearing about the reward, Staraptor was excited. This time, it was going to win for sure. It had a rivalry with Blastoise and Magneton, and it had lost the last time. This time, it was going to make a kiss-ass strategy and win the competition.
Now, it knew that Togekiss was extremely powerful, but the team's result would not only depend on it. So, it was hopeful about its future win.

The leader was quickly selected. Togekiss, Salamence, and Aerodactyl. Salamence and Feraligatr had a discussion on who would be the leader. They decided to fight it out for it. Salamence won the battle by surprise.
The fight surprised Axel, too, because it had just recently ranked up to pseudo-king rank, and it still won the battle.

Axel could now understand why Salamence lasted longer in the battle against Feraligatr. Almost all of its moves had been upgraded since last time. Axel was happy that its passive move also had an upgrade and it had also learned a completely new move.

(Level 50): With the help of the ridges, the dragon energy will cover the whole body of the user. The aura would sharpen the body of the user which would increase the impact and the destructiveness.
Sunny day (Salamence) (Level 40): The duration of the move has increased to 8 minutes. The temperature has increased and the power of fire type move has also increased.
(Level 45): Would increase the physical stats of the user while under flare blitz.
Flamethrower (Salamence) (Level 40): The power of the beam has increased with increase in temperature. The speed of the move has also increased.
(Level 45): The user can recharge the attack at incredible speed to fire a deadly attack a second time.
Dragon dance (Salamence) (Level 40): The dance has been modified and the effect of the move has been multiplied.
(Level 45): The move is faster than before. It could now be completed in 2-3 seconds.
Fire Fang (Salamence) (Level 40): Increases the lethality of the teeth while using this move. The cloak of fire is surrounded in each of its teeth and now it had a chance to burn the target.
(Level 45): The move is faster than before and higher chance to burn the target.
Wish (Salamence) (Level 40): There a good chance the move would either heal the target or increases its physical stats. The cooldown period of the move has decreased to 5 minutes.
(Level 45): The effectiveness and the speed of the move has increased. The user could now tell if it wanted to heal the target or increase its physical stats.
Crunch (Salamence) (Level 40): The penetrating power of the move has increased.
(Level 45): Has a higher chance of decreasing the target defense.
Flare Blitz (Salamence) (Level 40): The temperature of the fire that cloaks the user has increased. This will increase the speed of the user.
(Level 45): Can focus the fire energy on its wings which will double speed of the user. The cloak is also sharper and more refined and now has a higher chance to burn the target.
Aerial ace (Salamence) (Level 40): The speed and the precision of the attack has increased.
(Level 45): The reaction time and the agility of the user has increased.
(Level 50): The user can mix this attack with other physical moves.
Dragon Claw (Salamence) (Level 40): The move has become special in nature where the user will send a slash of claw marks to the target. Has a chance to flinch the target.
(Level 45): Can use the move in two hands at the same time. The move is faster and has more dragon aura than before.
Dragon pulse (Salamence) (Level 40): The beam had gotten concentrated and it if faster than before. While using the move, the user will send out a shock wave around it pushing anyone further back.
(Level 45): The speed and the power of the move has increased.
Dual wingbeat (Salamence) (Level 40): The user can make a sharp turn to strike next. The next strike could be fast and unexpected.
(Level 45): The wind force covering its wings are sharper and had more penetrating power.
Hurricane (Salamence) (Level 40): The speed and the volume of air in the hurricane has gotten stronger. It has stronger suction force than before.
(Level 45): Can create 2 hurricances at the same time.
Iron defense (Salamence) (Level 40): Can use the move 3 times.

Dragon Tail (Salamence) (Level 40): The tail is covered with concentrated amount of dragon type energy. Increase the damage of the move.
(Level 45): Has a 30% chance to confuse the target.
(Level 50): Can have high penetrating power and can be used to pierce the target.
(Level 55): The move is faster than before.
Dragon Defiance (Salamence) (Level 40): The user can cover its whole body from the energy stored in the ridges. This would improve its overall stats and especially its attack and defense.
(Level 45): The move will help overpower dragon type physical moves concentrating maximum amount of dragon type energy in that certain body part while using dragon type physical move.
Dragon Hide:
Stage I: The defense of the ridges has increased by a notch. The white ridges would now store the power of dragon type energy that can be used during a time of need. The stamina of the user has also increased.
Stage II: The capacity of white ridges has increased. The red ridges could now regulate the dragon type energy effectively which would improve the healing power of the user including its stamina and faster move execution.

Its overall powers had increased dramatically after it achieved Stage II of Dragon hide. Now, the red ridges would regulate the dragon type energy and improve its speed, attack, and other stats too. This was completely broken.
"Is such a thing really possible?", asked Axel to himself.
Axel could tell that Salamence was stronger from the get-go due to this passive. It must be noted that this was only the stage II of the passive move. Arceus knew how powerful it would become in the future.
Finally, he looked at the new move that it had learned after ranking up.
