Staraptor's plan was to increase the heat as much as possible so that it would help reduce the effect of Blastoise's water-type moves. It knew that it needed all the speed that it could get. Frankly, aside from 'Wild charge', Staraptor didn't have any good moves that could hurt Blastoise. Blastoise was flown off to the ground as it crashed, it was having difficulty standing up. It felt a red color blood coming out of its stomach and it pressed its small hands on it. It had been injured.
But Staraptor was also not in good condition. One of its wings was bleeding, and it was having difficulty flying at a proper speed.

Staraptor crushed its luck. An injury to the wing would compromise its overall power a lot. It never knew that Blastoise had such a move. This was because it was rarely used.
Blastoise knew that this was the time to take advantage. It did its best to stand up and did 'Rain dance'.
The dance was not perfect due to injury, so the rain was not so heavy. Staraptor at that time had already used 'Agility' again to increase its speed to maximum.
After that, Blastoise used 'Ice beam' around it to create a sort of shield to block Staraptor from its attack.

But that was not all. At this time, Staraptor used the move 'Roost'. Now, unlike in games and anime, 'Roost' was a very risky move if it was not properly mastered.
And Staraptor had not mastered it properly. Currently, 'Roost' can heal 40% of its maximum health and even give it some extra energy to fight but that was only for 3 minutes.
After three minutes, all the stamina of Staraptor would go down and it might be able to move for some time.
Using 'Roost' means that Staraptor was confident in finishing the battle in three minutes.
Staraptor used the move 'Hurricane'. A fierce wind started to come while she was flapping her wings with intensity.

The tornado took all the water from the surf and combined it with itself and it became larger and even bigger than before. It also looked very destructive. Blastoise set up all the defenses and 'Life dew' it could because it was heading towards it.

The ice shield that it had created was blown into pieces, and it was hit by that massive tornado.
No one knew what had happened to it for at least 4 minutes when the water and the wind clamed down. Everyone could see that Blastoise was trying its best to stand up. It had multiple injuries on its body and it knew that it was going to lose this battle. But it didn't want to give up.
Suddenly, it saw a yellow lightning coming towards it at a very fast speed. It knew that this was Staraptor but it would not give Staraptor the joy of humiliating it even further.
Out of instinct, its right hand, which was now covered in its own blood, tightened, and ice started to form around it. The ice immediately took the shape of a gauntlet-like thing, and it sent out that punch, but Staraptor could see what was happening. It dodged the punch, which was coming at a slow pace, and connected its 'Wild charge' on Blastoise's shoulder.
It didn't target Blastoise's stomach, which was already injured, because it felt that if it did, this might seriously injure Blastoise. Even though they were rivals, they were from the same team.
BANG!!!
Blastoise crashed to the ground, and the battle was over.

The crowd erupted into cheers. It was a great fight, and both of them had given their all. Their strength at rare rank was very high. The crowd felt that they were watching the battle of elemental rank Pokemon, rather than rare rank Pokemon.
