Chapter 170 - Chapter 169 Underhand talks

"A deal Bal what have you been thinking of. Me and Lenn have been thinking, to have a similar approach to the Blake and Avalon problem,"

Ceth leaned back into her chair Brand covered her head shoulders, Ceth glowing eyes seemed to follow Bal in the room his hand carrying his small spider Formoir laid in it, staring at them lazily like a cat picked up by the owner, he stared at Brand not impressed only annoyed. Bal peered at Ceth his legs stretched taking him to his seat, he looked at Lenn catching her, she stared at him blankly her eyes held a subtle shine her lips a stiff frown with Ain lingering next to Lenn's ear, whispering softly to her, flicker over to Formoir Ain's black eyes slit glaring at him, Bal smirked his gaze persisted on Ceth and he then mocked,

"You and Lenn how kind of you to put her name on your schemes, such a thought full sister, thinking of your twin how admirable,"

Bal sat down at his chair his overwhelming gaze set a heavy weight on the room , Ceth glared at him moving her lip a slight snare, her hand held opened Brand moved her wings flared landing onto the other clones she made cover Ceth's hair, Ceth pointed at Bal,

"I didn't put her name on my plans me and her handle it together, as it should be"

Ceth assured her gaze shifted to Lenn, she peered at the two her pink gaze stayed on Ceth, Ain moved from her ear a soft sigh came from the angel,

"Together, how nice of you to make that up, tell me Lenn, what was your reasoning to be here and talk with me?" Bal asked

Ceth snared her hues, a fervent glare turning to Lenn, Bal rolled his eyes staring back at Lenn examining her, waiting to see the hesitation. The distrust that leaks out of Lenn. But he saw a sharp interest, honestly hidden by a blank stare,

"You have been conducting under Blake's oath. Talking to Lugh against him, to kill Avalon without letting Blake know. Even with the territories on your oath you said to tell him everything," Lenn finished her gaze stilled on him, her body showing no sign of emotion, only blank cumulative gaze.

Bal lean forward his hand a rest for his chin, his grin still firmly placed on his lips, she figured him out so caustically, so fast it almost caught him off guard if it wasn't for her angel, that damned angel not even Formoir noticed her there, all they were concentrated on was making Lugh and Tuatha miserable. Bal huffed glancing at his angel, he sat in his other hand leering at them.

"You're not wrong, we did have a conversation with Lugh and Tuatha, it was amusing but I don't recall inviting you to that call Ain, please tell me Brand didn't put you up to this, it would be mildly predictable and offensive for your behalf." Formoir scoffed his eight eyes a slit analyzing he,

Ain moved her wings, a sign of inner turmoil she always found herself in, even if she can hide it well. Ain stared off at Formoir her eyes shined a faint pink, her wings flapped sending a large gust wind around the room knocking over papers and cutting through strings. Formoir glared at her pulling the strings,

"No, it wasn't her intention for me to listen into call, it's mine,"

Ain asserted her butterfly's body twitched and with her wind curling around them, Ain stared down at Formoir and his host, scanning over them, her mind raced with the past seeping into the now.

"I know you Formoir, I knew you wouldn't fall for Peter's oath. Whether it be Peter or Blake, you are not a fool they will try to turn it against you and Formoir you want to do that before Peter could again." Ain continued

"How the perspective you have Ain, seems to stay in the way of the past and now the present. You connect them in a way that's fascinating but you are right for most of it," Formoir complemented,

He moved off Bal hand to the edge of the desk, his eyes shift from a blue to a bark brown, almost black. His web appeared over them again and the spider spoke over them, coe. Manipulative. Mocking. It made Ain's skin crawl and Lenn's body went cold. Ceth seethed at the small angel it reminded her so much of the prideful prick of a host, her bails dug into the chair barely hiding her disgust with her angel scoffing at the sight, her light dimmed with her distasteful glare. Brand when to tell him to become silent but his voice went over hers,

"All thought I find it humorous that it's you who came up with this idea and not the commanding twin, that must be humiliating for you Brand," Foroir purred out a wicked glint in his eyes. Brand glared, intensifying her wings bright with light, blinding but not burning. Not like Sandel. no hers is like the sun. There is a reflection of her.

"Not humiliating, prideful shes my sister, thought ahead before i even could, she caught you both and now your just being petty Formoir its not good for you,"

"Maybe she doesn't have a heightened ego brought by insecurities, isn't that right Brand, always picked last never thought about by the man in the sky or even your little…"

The light picked up in the room close to Sandels, Brands butterflies flew around Ceth covering her eyes from the light, Brand seethed, seeping out of her small form, her words like knife cutting through his webs,

"Dont you pull that Formoir you coward, waiting in Peters shadow just to fail from exposing yourself to the sky, only to fall with us having to build something that fell falling for Peters power just like the rest of us, but when we grew from it, you only tried to copy what he's done…"

Formoir cut her off his voice cold cut throat, the utter rage coming off the spider put the room into a corner the webs strung around the room, Around them caging Lenn and Ceth, but it concentrated on Ain and Brand there small forms, threatening to cut through them without a second thought. Brand glared at him worse then before her light gleamed off his webs when Formoir seethed to her,

"You veil wench, you are so diluted to even saw that here, in my presence you selfish cold hearted bitch,"

Formoir oozes of his power, brown and blue crawled around him and reached towards Bal, it made the remnant of power Formoir has for him appear around Bal, who smirked and faltered, he's seen Formoir lose his patients before. When he heard of Avalon the first time and when he felt Peters or Blake's presence the first time, the second was the worst, killing a few of his best men. A pity really. Bal moved off his hand leaning in his chair a sigh came through his lips the blue and brown curled around him, Ceth peered at Brand feeling her grow in power before they hear Formoir's poisonous voice,

"But it's in the past right we can look past both of our faults and find ourselves in the same unfortunate problem"

Formoir jumped onto his webs crawling slowly, stalking the four below him or as of the moment in front of her, Brand, his eight eyes staring into hers a gold refined indifference, this was what she witnessed all those times ago, for there host this was odd, frighten them maybe, but them there small group of fallen angels, no they knew if you pushed Formoir a little to much he would snap one or twice, but this was over board for him, Brand scoffed glaring at him,

"Im here for that but someone is letting his true emotions show, how messy,"

"Shut it you blasted…"

"Formoir enough of this amusing bickering,"

Formoir and Brand looked at Bal seeing his amused stare at them, his hand on his built chest. The remaining power curled around him making his skin move on his own, his hand moved taking the strings back and which pulled Formoir back to him, landing in his hand almost tumbling out, Formoir let out a curse in a language Bal knew from him it came from above. Bal glanced at him a whisper came from him,

"Calm down this is about the future of us, you know this is critical and shouldn't let past wounds appear on the surffus,"

Formoir moved, laying in his hand, his eyes a squint at Bal, a small hiss from the small spider.

"It wasn't for me flesh bag."

"It wasn't you saying I don't think it was just for her but."

Bal cut himself off tilting his head to Ceth and Lenn, who hadn't moved from the strings that Formoir sent, Ceth sat there glare her eyes a slight twitch. Her hand curled protectively around Brand. Concerned for her. Good a little weakness, Lenn he found that she held her hand at her hip, Ain moved to her ear to hide but also to give advice back if it went south. Lenn stared back at him, her pink eyes intense waiting for any aggression. A light vision of a sword handle on her hip. Her fingertips touched it ever so slightly.

"Sorry, my spider seems to have an appeal for mind games. And it seems that your butterflies have his target, might we get back to the small talk you want to make, Ceth? Be quick about it, i don't believe i have much patience with you," Bal told her his hand motioned her to start talking a bored expression on his face, Formoir glared up at him and crawled up to his shoulder, snuggling into the suit jacket, his irritated stare before he stared at the four in front of him stupefied, Ceth felt a snare trying to come back as she spoke to him with utter contempt,

"I want total and complete recognition, I want to stop Avalon and Blake just as much as you and Lugh, they have been a pain we have to bare,"

Ceth glanced at Lenn, her stare collected wanted to see what Lenn was really thinking, seeing whats laid behind her walls, her hidden thought mixed with pain, slowly melted into the wall where Ceth couldn't see if it was true or a blank stare looking into her eyes, faint voice that agreed ever so slightly, Lenn glanced at her a soft barely noticeable nod, she recognized her. Lenn still saw her. Ceth held back a grin her eyes went back to the rail in question,

"You and Lugh could try to end them but what would happen if it fail and you both had no where to go, no where to look for Blake to take you both to peter your angels know his. You and Lugh nothing but burnt flesh and bone, your business left to your sides. Nothing but ruin and ruble after he's thought ," Ceth empathised but a mocking tone laced in it,

Bal glared at her as she talked on, he felt Formoir move on his shoulder, his legs under him, wanting to strike her for the scornful lashing. He hummed softly, almost a growl. Ceth didn't care even hearing Brand giggling on her hand crawling up her arm,

"You see Bal even with Blake then you have that silver flame you're so cautious but obsessed with. Just like he was, he proved her prowess to you."

Ceth pointed at his wound pulsing in pain in his chest. Bal felt the bubbling in his chest the mere mention of her, the mocking from this possessor. Sent the anger he's been holding back into a boil. But he kep quit his eyes saying whats happing in the inside,

"She could do it again if you thought less of her once again. Cast off into her blade a scorching fire from her own angel. Lugh gave her a heart throb of her own, Avalon she's gotten better she watched and waited for so long i think she will be able to knock both your weak asses out of the living."

Ceth wanted to continue beating that idea into his head, trying to break into his mind, but that wouldn't work not for him. She can try it, and it's delicious. Ceth leans closer to Lenn with Bal cutting through her voice,

"What are you getting at? Answer it quickly before I let my angel do as he pleases."

"Fine since your so impatience. I want to work with you to end the occupation of Blake, but also that Avalon, she tried to cut us down like you, we had to have Blake save our hides."

Ceth explained leaning closer to the desk, her eyes a blinding light gold, her hair a slight ting with Brands clones moving from within, and her voice not mocking, not the smug tone that creeped into their every word but calculated, precise.

"We want the same let us have the upper hand, together and end the two that made us eight of us suffer under,"
