After Diego finish his match with three, he went up to the balcony where the Shinobi should be. When he arrived Naruto came up and punched him in the shoulder.
< Why did you hide all your power, like all that was so amazing. Are you trying to be stronger than me so you can become hokage. If so then you won't stop me I'll get even stronger than you are and become the greatest Hokage believe it!!!> Naruto yelled
While Naruto was going on about being hokage. Temari was seeming to be more tense and nervous than before which was odd.
< well now that match has ended, it is time Sasuke Uchiha and Gara fight. Would you please come to the arena so we may begin.> Genma said
Gara came down from the stands but there was no sasuke, this made Gara grow more impatient as he want blood. Then after a shinobi Left Genman.
< Change of plans we will move on to the next match in hope for Sasuke to arrive. So would Temari and Shikamaru come down.> Genma said
Temari left to the arena while shikmaru stayed in place not wanting to go, that when Diego and Naruto gave him a little shove. The match started and they would begin to fight, or that Temari would throw attacks while shikimaru would stay in place. At the end of there match Shikamaru lost because he is very intelligent, but there was nothing he could do in the situation. Temari was long range user and Shikamaru needed to be in range for his attack. With that Shikamaru forfeits the match.
< This match ends Temari wins due to forfeit. Now since Sasuke is still not here, will Naruto and Neji please come to the arena.> Genma said
Naruto left first but when he landed, he fell on his face. Neji went down and scoffed at Naruto walking to the other side of the arena. The match started and it was heavily in Neji favor, Neji managed to block all of Naruto chakra points. Naruto was on the ground slowly getting up, he put his hands up in a seal and started to yell. Orange red chakra started to float out of Naruto. His chakra point were unsealed and he started to fight back even stronger.
Naruto clashed with Neji and a big explosion happen, when it cleared Neji and Naruto were on the ground. Neji was the first one to get up but the ground under him started to rumble and Naruto came out, Naruto uppercuts Neji knocking him out.
< That the end of the match Naruto win due to knock out. Sasuke has 10 seconds to get here, if he does not show up then he is forfeiting.> Genma said
10..9..8..7...6...5...4...3...2...1. When it was last second Sasuke arrived last second with Kakashi.
< we aren't late are we.> Kakashi said
< No just on time let the match begin, Gara come down here.> Genma said
As soon as Gara touched the ground the match started. Sasuke throws Kunai with a bomb tag at Gara , when they reach Gara he block the kunai boom and explosion happens. Sasuke goes in trying for a couple blows but isn't able to land one. Gara started to shield himself from Sasuke, so Sasuke goes to the wall and starts to charge a chidori and rushed at Gara. When Sasuke reached he stab the shield and into Gara, blood started to come out Gara .
Gara starts to rage and he soon leaves the shield. Gara grabs his head as it starts to ache in pain. Diego from the balcony sees this and get a little worried. Then Diego notices everyone in the arena is starting to fall asleep, he also begins to feel drowsy. He thinks to himself that it must be a genjustu. He puts up a sign and counters the justsu, he then notices Temari and Kankuro around Gara. They grab him and start to rush off, he also see in the kage stand a smoke bomb go off.
Diego decides to go and follow Gara as it obviously is an attack on the leaf. Diego is scared the one tails will escape from Gara as it seems Gara does not have much control. As he starts to follow he sees Naruto, Sakura, and Shikamaru run off with a dog. They ended up going in the same direction so he joins their group.
" Hey guys, are you chasing Gara too"
< Yes, Kakashi order us to follow Sasuke and Gara > Shikamaru stated
" Well alright then, seems we have the same goal expect I didn't know Sasuke showed up. We need to hurry up Sasuke won't be able to fight them and I don't think he wait for backup"
When the group was rushing towards Sasuke, Pakkun picked up on some enemy ninja chasing them. They were thinking of ambushing then when Shikamaru explain to them this it is a bad idea. He volunteers to help distract the ninja but this will most likely lead to his death.
" That a terrible idea but the only one we have, so before you go by yourself, I'll have one shadow clone follow you in the shadows. We can't have a fellow comrade die on us"
Shikamaru agreed and the group parted ways, Diego had the group speed up a little to get to Sasuke faster.
