Yang Sijie was completely unaware of everything that was happening over at Sky Creation's tree castle.
Ever since the imperial meeting where he gained a deeper understanding of the Truth Association's power, Yang Sijie's attitude had changed completely.
Previously, he wanted to be independent and lead the Yang family in wrenching out of the grip of the Truth Association. But now, all he wanted to do was curry favor with the Truth Association and find a way for them to see him as more important than his father.
This was because Yang Sijie was weak by nature. After being spoiled in the imperial court for all his life, he had long lost the bloodthirst that he should have possessed.
Furthermore, he knew that he would not be able to fight the Truth Association on his own.
The Truth Association's power was glaring and even his father, the Yang family's strongest expert, was no match for them. If he tried to take them on, he would only be jumping toward a pointless death.
