I perked up as I wanted so desperately to hear the answer to this question.
Dent shrugged, looking uncomfortable from receiving so much attention. 'I was approached by the Faerie and asked to keep the child hidden, and as his 'father,' I could do that. Anyway, the rest of the story, you know.'
'Yes,' I began. 'But where is it that could you hide the child that someone as powerful as Gil could not?'
Mr Dent pushed the glasses back up his nose, leaving a massive thumbprint in the process. Then he cursed and sighed as he had to take them off and use the cotton from his shirt to wipe them. 'I asked Gil the same question, and she answered with a claim that there were too many spies watching her.'
