CHAPTER 237
The helicopter descended through the early evening sky. The aircraft landed smoothly on a private helipad at a small airport on the outskirts of the city. The rotors continued to spin overhead, whipping the evening air into sharp gusts.
Ezekiel stepped down first. His long black coat billowed behind him before settling against his frame.
Drasco followed a second later.
Waiting several meters away was a convoy of black luxury vehicles. A group of men in dark suits stood beside them. The moment Ezekiel and Drasco got close in their proximity, they suddenly became agitated as their heartbeats rose. They all unconsciously tilted their heads down.
They were all humans. The one in front made a reluctant step forward. "Sir, our boss has been expecting your arrival."
Ezekiel acknowledged him with a slight nod. "Lead the way."
The driver hurried to open the rear door of the second van.
