Ezekiel looked at him calmly, then glanced toward the iron door. "The cell is built with runebars."
Runebars are cages that were made by dwarves. No supernatural could escape or enter. Even magic was voided by it. Unless it was going through its main door or opening.
Alistair remained unconvinced. His jaw tightened as he looked at Astrid.
She simply gave him a small nod. "It would be alright."
After a short silence, Alistair reluctantly stepped aside. "Fine. But if anything happens—"
"It won't," Ezekiel answered before he could finish.
Without another word, he walked toward the heavy iron door. The others followed several steps behind.
Ezekiel unlocked the door himself. The thick steel groaned as it slowly swung inward.
Immediately, he was greeted with an echoing noise.
