In the council hall, the elders were waiting for the results when the secret land battlefield ejected the warriors from the place.
The warriors appeared on the water's surface. They were being rescued by the healers at a rapid rate. This scene was playing on the big screens on their desks.
The elders remained silent. Their eyes were glued to the screens, watching the rescue take place. The warriors who appeared above the water's surface were the only survivors.
But none of them could swim on their own. It showed that not a single warrior was in shape to walk, either. Everyone was badly hurt.
Still, the elders were paying attention to an even more critical matter: they wanted to know how many of them had died.
Elder Rowena was among them. She was keeping count as well, but the count was not good. The survivors were fewer than in the previous battle. It was bad news.
