The sound of the door being hit repeatedly could be heard while inside the room a couple was laying on the bed their clothes strewn at different positions in the room tells of the activity that had been taken place before the interruption from outside.
While the man was unbothered about what is going to take place, the same can not be said about the girl who even made a move to leave the bed knowing fully well that her boyfriend was at the door and she was about to be caught in the act of cheating.
"Be good" Andre said as he held Megan whose eyes was shut tightly and was hyperventilating as she heard the door continuously being hit until it was forced open with a Bang.
Her eyes flew open at that moment as she saw JT come inside the bedroom, his eyes was red rimmed as he stare at the couple on the bed.
" She was really done for", she thought clutching the bed sheets tightly around herself as she watched him continue staring at them in silent without saying any word but she could read the pain, betrayal and the hurt from his gaze she felt her heart squeeze painfully.
"How could you?", TJ asked his voice brimming with hurt.
" How could you?", He repeatedly said over and over again his voice depicting his unshed tears.
The scene he was currently looking at was something he never dreamt could happen.
She lowered her eyes as she felt shame eating her up.
She heard him inhale sharply and raise her head tears spilling out from her eyes as she watched him turn his back on her and walk out.
Noone needs to tell her that their relationship was over, her heart hurts so much as she thought of how she just lost the man she has loved for years due to Andre.
Speaking of the devil (Andre) she turned and watch him get out of the bed with a smirk on his face as he leisurely put on his pants then his shirt.
"Am done here", he said as he buttons his shirt humming then move closer to her trying to kiss her while she moved away from him.
"Aww, don't be rigid sweetheart",he said as he held her face forcefully and kiss her cheek before he walked away from the bedroom.
She sat there crying when suddenly the door opened again and she came face to face with her best friend Melissa who also happens to be TJ 's sister.
"He said you had cheated on him with Andre and I didn't believe him" she said with tears streaming down her eyes as her eyes swept across the room taking notes of the rompled sheets and clothes in disarray all over the room.
" I didn't believe you would cheat on him and I thought you loved him turns out you don't" she said wiping her face furiously to steam the tears flowing down her face.
She was so shock by the scene she met if anyone tell her that her best friend from child hood would cheat on her brother she would never had believed but it turned out to be true.
" Mel", Megan called out as she turned to leave which made her pause " let me explain please", she said with tears in her eyes.
once upon a time, Mel couldn't stand her friend crying cos she hardly do but she no longer care but held her in contempt.
"save the tears for someone who cares", she said as she moved closed to her and called her "Slut" which made her flinched ,she turned and left her there.
Megan felt like the most horrible person in the world in one day she lost her everything.
Her man and her best friend.
What would she do now ? Which step should she take from her? she thought weeping.
she was still weeping as she got dressed, walked out of the hotel.
She walked aimlessly on the street dialing TJ's number hoping and praying he pick and at least talk to her but all her calls went to voicemail.
She then decided to call her best friend Melissa if she would picked but she had blocked her.
Feeling wretched and down she decided to go home so she could talk to her family at least they can reach out to them cause they were family friends and have known each other for over a decade.Although She was scared wondering if her parents would choose their friends over her...
On getting home, Megan got the shock of her life when she met her luggage outside the house with a note which says she was no longer welcome to the house and was no longer part of the family. Her family had made their choice.
It was shocking as she thought her own family will at least try to find out if she was really at fault or why she acted the way she did but she was disowned instead.
" Mom, Dad", she called just a little above a whisper with her voice already hoarse from crying for a long time before deciding to go home.
"please open the door", she said banging on the door with her hands and tears streaming down her face.
"please let me explain", she yelled still hitting the door.
She could hear the silent weeping of her mom and the quite hushing of her dad but no one made a move to open the door.
There was no response from anyone even after spending hours on the door, she took her bag and walk away dejected.
She was so drained that she couldn't cry anymore as she walk slowly inside the rain, she had lost everything in one day; her boyfriend who meant the world to her, her best friend , family and home.
