In recent years, their commerce and industry has flourished, represented by textile, mining, meat products, tanning, tobacco, metallurgy, machinery, and shipbuilding industries.
Although not directly under the jurisdiction of those six permanent members, its richness ranks among the top in the Federation's 27 states.
