Every one of that squad was mounted on an Iron-horned Rhinoceros.
It was a kind of mount unique to the Extreme West Wilderness, mild in temperament but with a vicious-looking face, appearing extremely fierce and imposing.
At the same time, its fur was white as snow, making it very popular with the Pioneers in this part of the Extreme West Wilderness.
However, this kind of Iron-horned Rhinoceros was extremely difficult to capture, and very expensive to purchase. Ordinary Pioneers of the Extreme West Wilderness could never hope to obtain such a mount.
In fact, in some of the small cities outside Barbaric City, there simply were no such mounts at all.
