Qin Qingyue paused from her task after hearing what Hong Dou said.
Hong Dou sighed, and while she warmed the dish in the steamer, she talked to herself,
"I always thought Mr. Su Jiuci and our Young Master Su were a perfect match. Every time I see Mr. Su Jiuci, I notice his gaze is always fixed on the Young Master."
She paused, then continued,
"The Young Master likes him too, otherwise he wouldn't treat him so well. I don't know what caused it, why did he suddenly become so angry?"
While she spoke, she shook her head and sighed.
Qin Qingyue tightened her grip on the teacup.
She bowed her head and struggled to place the teacup back on the tray with great restraint.
She tried to keep her voice as calm as usual,
"How are they a perfect match? Young Master Su deserves better. Frankly, I don't think highly of Su Jiuci's character."
Hong Dou tilted her head,
"Oh?"
Qin Qingyue seldom spoke, and mostly she listened without giving her own opinions.
