Aurora Blaine was originally still sleepy, but she instantly jolted awake completely.
Her hand couldn't stop in time, and the gap she opened gradually widened.
Her heart raced dramatically and she quickly slammed the door shut with a loud bang.
Standing at the door, she saw the man frowned slightly on the monitor then pressed the doorbell again.
Aurora ignored it and quickly returned to the bedroom to pick up her phone to call Maverick Knight.
She hadn't had a chance to speak before hearing the man's cold tone, "Open the door."
"I just got up and haven't fixed my appearance, haven't changed clothes, can't meet people now. I'll come find you in half an hour."
After finishing, Aurora hung up the phone.
She could only use this excuse; otherwise, opening the door halfway and then closing it would be too inexplicable.
Two minutes later, she arrived at the door, and the screen no longer showed the man's figure.
What a relief.
