Maverick Knight asked softly, "Want to drink something?"
"No." Aurora Blaine stretched lazily.
After spending the afternoon in the apartment, she stepped out to the large balcony to get some fresh air.
Maverick Knight followed her slowly outside.
The sky wasn't completely dark yet, Aurora Blaine went to the railing, rested her hands on it, and looked at the scenery.
She apologized again for yesterday's event, "I'm sorry for standing you up."
She thought, probably no one would dare to stand Maverick Knight up.
If it weren't something urgent, she wouldn't have done it.
Maverick Knight replied indifferently, "Forgot what I said on the phone?"
"So, where are you taking me?" Aurora Blaine was quite curious.
"So, are you going to offer me compensation?" Maverick Knight answered with a question.
Aurora Blaine laughed, "If you say it like that, then of course I must."
Wondering where it was, successfully piquing her curiosity.
