Upon hearing this, Maverick Knight looked at her, "How did you respond?"
Aurora Blaine picked up another piece of meat, "I told them to guess."
"They should be asking when you plan to marry me." Maverick Knight's tone was light, yet there was no ignoring the seriousness in it.
Aurora Blaine sat on the blanket around the coffee table, eating. Her chewing paused for a moment, then her gaze shifted from the delicious dishes to Maverick Knight.
The man sat on the sofa beside her. Under the light, his eyes were deep and dark, mixed with emotions that would draw anyone in at a glance.
Aurora Blaine's lips curved into a gentle arc, "You really want to get married that much?"
Maverick Knight: "I never thought about it before."
Aurora Blaine remained silent for ten seconds, then changed the topic, "Have you eaten yet?"
The servant had brought two sets of bowls and chopsticks for them, Maverick Knight likely hadn't eaten after finishing his work.
Maverick Knight looked at her, "No."
