Aurora Blaine's gaze swept over Jace Pierce, "What are you standing here for?"
A man standing in front of a girl's room door, like a creep.
Jace Pierce, looking nonchalant, dragged his voice as he replied, "Knocking."
Aurora thought of something, "Still not awake?"
When she asked Ethan Bell to call them for dinner, Ethan said Kane Townsend was sleeping.
"Nope." Jace leaned against the door, casually, "No response to knocking."
Not answering the phone either; it's quite concerning.
"Call the front desk, they have a spare key," Aurora suggested.
After last night's poisoning, Kane's physical condition wasn't good today, which was worrisome; did something happen?
Jace's tone was lazy, "If I break in and she's just out of the shower without clothes, what then?"
"..."
Aurora rolled her eyes, "Damn, you still think about that! Can I go in alone?"
"No need, I've got a solution." Jace said, then fished out the room key from his pocket and opened the door to his room next door.
