"Jace, do you know what day tomorrow is?" Ethan asked.
"What?" Maverick's tone was slightly heavy.

This isn't a small matter, even though Maverick going to the North to congratulate might most likely get him kicked out...
"Well, tomorrow is Mrs. Strict's birthday, and the goddess came back today because of this." Ethan quickly explained.
