Maverick Knight took the jewelry box and softly said, "Thank you, Mom."
"Don't mention it; I prefer you to show it through your actions," Audrey Cole said sincerely. "I'm very pleased that you and Aurora have reached this point."
Maverick Knight quietly watched her, sensing more to her words.
Audrey Cole became more direct, "I've always known that Autumn and Aurora are Mrs. Yeon's granddaughters, but I didn't tell you."
Before, when the Axis relations were good, Audrey Cole, as Mrs. Han's daughter, had met Mr. Blaine, Mrs. Yeon's husband, when they were young.
Later, as the Axis relations soured, Audrey, out of respect for Mrs. Han, kept a polite distance from the Blaine Family in Solara.
She believed Mrs. Yeon had only one granddaughter, Autumn Blaine.
Until Aurora Blaine appeared.
Audrey Cole could clearly feel that Maverick Knight had unusual feelings for that girl.
