"Haha... Since I've discovered the secret between the two of you, naturally I've made preparations long ago. Did you think I would be foolish enough to let you design against me?" Hao Xun exclaimed with disdainful laughter.
"You probably don't know yet, do you? The guard responsible for pouring the drinks has already defected to me, so I've already swapped the drinks. You should worry about your bodies now. The new poison I concocted, Passion Spell, is potent and fierce. I wonder if you can withstand its effects for the time it takes one incense stick to burn..."
As Hao Xun's words fell, they immediately caused an uproar among the crowd.
The Great Elder and the others had their expressions changed dramatically, their faces turning extremely unsightly, as each tried to hide the panic in their eyes and hastily examined their bodies to find they were indeed poisoned!
"Hao Xun, quickly take out the antidote!" The Great Elder's face was grim, eyes burning with rage.
