Suddenly, Situ Mingrui knelt on one knee before the Dark Wolf Emperor, his handsome face showing a resolute expression.
"Your Majesty, I have already consummated the marriage with the Sixth Princess. We acted before marrying; I humbly request your punishment. I am willing to take the Sixth Princess as my wife and vow that she will be my only wife in this life!"
The Dark Wolf Emperor frowned, and the Cang Crown Prince also looked grave.
Cang Yuwei, seeing this, felt panic in her eyes, "Father, if it weren't for Mingrui last night, I would have already been disgraced by that scoundrel Xiao Jing! The potency of the aphrodisiac was too strong. We fell off the Cold Cliff into the cold pool below, and he was seriously injured, with no antidote available. He did this to save me... no, it was all my willing decision! It has nothing to do with Mingrui!"
Her beautiful and lovely face showed determination, with a look of facing death unflinchingly.
