Yi City, the northwestern borderland of Qin Country.
This is a dead city caught in the cracks. To its left lies the Tu Country, with whom Qin has been at odds for generations, and to its right, the ferocious Qinling. At night, you can hear the roars of countless beasts from within Qinling.
Tu Country and Qinling squeeze Yi City in between them. The stationed Mu Family Army must not only keep an eye on any movements from Qinling but also remain vigilant against any changes from Tu Country.
This crucial military post, however, has turned into a desolate place due to Emperor Qin's suspicions.
Here, there are hardly any ordinary people, mostly exiled criminalized individuals serving as military slaves within the Mu Family Army.
In Yi City, all life's resources rely on the Luodu Mu Mansion's continuous supply of basic living essentials. Such a place is the fiefdom of the Mu Family.
