In the Royal Prince Palace, the rugged architecture, under the night sky, resembled a lurking giant beast, fierce and savage. Various totems of beasts were carved as decorations on the beams and columns, adding an extra layer of terror.
Iron braziers hung from the beams, their flickering flames dispelling the darkness of the palace and shutting out the cold from outside.
In the palace, the floor was covered with thick Beast Skins, and the air was filled with a stench, mixed with the strong scent of alcohol.
From behind the Beast Skin screen, came ambiguous giggles.
This raised the temperature within the palace, and the firelight took on a more scandalous hue.
In the dim corners of the palace, a dozen young women, dressed thinly, huddled together. Their eyes were numb, and whenever alluring gasps came from within the hall, their eyes filled with fear, their bodies involuntarily trembled, and their hands clutched themselves tighter.
"Ah—!"
