The seemingly frail old man beside the chatty young girl lowered his eyes in amazement.
He had just glanced at the City Lord Mu secretly, using a more concealed aura lock, yet it was still detected.
'If I hadn't retracted it quickly, otherwise I might have...' the old man thought to himself.
"Grandfather, what are you thinking about?" The girl ended her conversation with others and turned her eyes, seeing her grandfather deep in thought.
The old man collected his thoughts, looked up at her, and smiled warmly, "Nothing much."
The girl said 'Oh' and didn't continue to ask. But she leaned closer to the old man, asking in a small, curious voice, "Grandfather, do you think that City Lord Mu is really as formidable as they say?"
The old man sighed and said meaningfully, "If it's just one or two people saying so, there may be falsehoods. But if everyone says so, it is probably true."
