The sudden firelight illuminated the banks of the Menglan River.
These flames, landing on the city walls, turned into countless sparks, igniting the endless black insects. As the fire burned, the black insects emitted sharp, piercing screams, and the entire city wall seemed to transform momentarily into a living purgatory, making people shudder and their scalp tingle.
"General, these fires!" The Demon General within the shield watched in shock at the scene.
Fire attacks—they hadn't overlooked the possibility.
But they were useless!
Previously, these black insects appeared unafraid of fire. Why, then, were they now reduced to ashes by this heavenly blaze?
"This is Abnormal Fire!" Yuan Feng perceived the difference within the flames and exclaimed.
It turned out that these bizarre black insects were not unafraid of fire, but rather, unafraid of ordinary fire. It required suppressive Abnormal Fire to eliminate them.
