At the Empress Dowager's place, when the Empress Dowager saw Wanzi holding a pomegranate to give her, she was very pleased and beckoned for Wanzi to come to her embrace.
"Grand Empress Dowager, this is for you." Wanzi lifted the pomegranate, saying.
"Wanzi is the most obedient. Thank you, Wanzi." Tianmiao kissed the Princess's forehead, took the pomegranate, and handed it to Lianhua to peel and put on a plate.
"Grand Empress Dowager, Happy is clever. She can paint by herself." The Princess, boasting like showing off a treasure, gestured.
"So clever, huh?" The Empress Dowager looked at the little dog standing at their feet with a smile.
"Yes, yes, Grand Empress Dowager, Father came to see me and Mother yesterday. Father even held me." The Princess happily shared her joy with Tianmiao.
"Oh? Your father came to see you? Did he bring you any gifts?" Tianmiao asked.
The Princess was taken aback, thought for a moment, and shook her head, "No."
