Scarlett Xavier sat in the passenger seat, listening to Julian's words, and suddenly burst into laughter.
When she laughed, she revealed a neat row of eight teeth, and her smile was quite radiant.
Seeing her laugh so happily, Julian felt puzzled, "What's so funny?"
Scarlett said, "What's the use of a man? I can support myself and take care of myself. If I'm with someone else, I also have to put up with their bad temper."

He knew that sometimes he could indeed be quite overbearing, liking to speak up when he didn't like something, enjoying retorting. Holding back was simply not an option for him.
