When he came back, he had already finished drinking the water, and the cup was placed on the table beside him. Scarlett Xavier lifted the blanket and lay on the bed, "I'm exhausted."
She didn't feel it in the hospital, but now that she's finally left, there's a sense of relief.
Julian Rhodes went back to his room and couldn't fall asleep, but Scarlett Xavier fell asleep quickly. Julian was the patient; in the hospital, he could sleep whenever he wanted. She was different.
She got up early because she knew Julian was being discharged today.
Scarlett slept for a bit over an hour before being woken by a knock at the door.
She opened her eyes, saw that Julian was still asleep, then got up to answer the door. The servant stood at the doorway and said, "Young Madam, it's time to eat."
"Has Miss Everett left?"
"Not yet."
"Got it." After the servant left, Scarlett closed the door and lay back down.
