Violet Reeves looked at Scarlett Xavier and said, "You must be Scarlett?"
Scarlett Xavier was a bit surprised, "You know me?"
Julian Rhodes, standing nearby, also frowned.
Violet said, "I met you at your brother's place before."
She had seen a photo of Scarlett. Even though Scarlett was young in the picture, her features had been delicate and recognizable since childhood, making her easy to identify at a glance.
Scarlett replied, "Alright. You guys chat first, I'll go upstairs."
Uncle Jonah said, "Alright then."
Julian followed her upstairs.
Scarlett walked ahead of him and said, "I didn't expect my brother to have a girlfriend. He never mentioned it to me before. I'll need to ask him properly when he's back."
Julian let out a snort.
Scarlett glanced at him and asked, "What are you snorting about?"
"Harboring ulterior motives."
Scarlett said, "Who? That Miss York? Isn't she pretty nice?"
Julian gave Scarlett a look. He was clearly talking about Jonah Morgan!
