Julian Rhodes stared at her, "Hurry up."
"I'm going to find Nora." Scarlett Xavier said, pushing him aside, and dashed out the door.
Downstairs, Mrs. Rhodes looked at Felix Rhodes, "How did you get involved with Vivian Bell?"
The Reeves Family were just here, so Mrs. Rhodes didn't ask.
Now that everyone had left, she couldn't help but grab Felix Rhodes to get clarity.
Felix Rhodes said, "Mom, you really know how to get to the point."
Mrs. Rhodes looked at Felix Rhodes, "Are you involved with her?"
"No," Felix Rhodes replied.
Mrs. Rhodes said, "It'd better not be."
Felix Rhodes looked at his mother and said, "Why such a big reaction? You usually treat her quite well, don't you?"
"I treat her well for Scarlett Xavier's sake," Mrs. Rhodes said. "But to have her as my daughter-in-law, I won't agree to that."
"Why?" Felix Rhodes didn't understand.
