Julian's words reminded Scarlett Xavier of when she called Julian a couple of days ago.
She looked at Julian and thought of her silly self back then. When she said those words to him, she really relied on him and liked him a lot.
She saw him as someone she could depend on, so she was completely unreserved in front of him.

Suddenly, she felt incredibly foolish.
She said to Julian, "Having a baby is quite troublesome, and also, thinking about the energy it takes to take care of someone for a lifetime, it's quite a significant pressure."
Julian listened to Scarlett's words and laughed, "I knew you would think that way, I'm not surprised at all. But it's okay, we don't have to rush to have kids. Having a baby would squeeze our personal space. Imagine if I come home exhausted every day, and then hear them crying, it would make me want to hit something."
