"More! I want more! Why are you stopping?!" Yuan roared out loud when the Demon God's Ordeal stopped flowing toward him, looking like an addict who just ran out of supply.
"There's nothing we can do since all of the Demon God's Ordeal in this area has already been consumed by you," Selena remarked.
"Huh?"
Yuan's Demonic Awakening suddenly deactivated, and his demeanor returned to normal.
He looked around with a somewhat puzzled face, almost as if he wasn't aware of what had occurred.
Then he inspected his body. Although it felt stronger than before, it wasn't drastically different, nor was there anything new.
"You haven't completed your ascension yet," Selena said after seeing his actions.
Yuan raised an eyebrow and asked, "Will it be fine? I thought one could not stop their ascension midway."
"Hard to say. You may be human, but you came from a different world, so things might be different for you."
