"I'm Captain Gu, leader of the 3rd Company under the 7th Division," Captain Gu introduced himself shortly after making his appearance.
"Yuan," Yuan responded with a simple, even lackluster introduction.
"Before we begin, I have something to tell you. A proposal of sorts," Captain Gu suddenly said.
"I'm not interested," Yuan rejected before even hearing it.
Knowing that the individual before him bore the surname 'Gu', Yuan already knew that it was going to be some nonsense.
Captain Gu immediately frowned and said, "You're arrogant, but I don't blame you. I would be too if I had your talents. However, no matter how talented you are, you won't last long in the military with that attitude, especially toward those with a higher rank than you."
"Anyway, you will listen to me regardless of whether you want to or not, as what I am about to say comes from a position way higher than mine."
