"No," Li Yang said. The people all around him looked baffled at his answer and even Taiga's jaw dropped a little bit because he didn't go along with what the others wished. He wasn't exactly a yes man, but as a business magnate, relationships were vital.
So anybody else would have said yes to gain favor.
Unless you happened to be at the very peak of existence and unshakeable then you could do as you please. However, at this point in time, it was important to at least get along and have amicable relations.
"Huh?" The disciples looked at each other in astonishment.
"I presume that Li Yang has a profound cultivation technique and method that he does not wish to share with others," the Shou Sect Elder spoke and nodded sagely. "Let us not disturb him any further."
After exchanging a couple more words with Li Yang, the elder departed with the rest of his disciples trailing after him. Every now and then, they'd look back hoping to see a glimpse but failed to notice anything.
