Synopsis
I was inspired to write this novel by listening to David guetta's song 'She Wolf' ft. Sia. It's been in my head for more than 5years and I finally decided to write what I had in mind. You may find that my knowledge on cities and history is not accurate even my english maybe. I am from Ivory Coast and speak French as my first language. I do not plan to make it a lengthy novel, at most 20 chapters. Thanks you for reading it~ Jones Archer finds himself in a complicated situation. finding himself lost in Africa one day after being shot by robbers in his home. He can't remember anything at all, anything except the soft amber eyes of a beautiful black and grey..... WOLF?

Chapter 1 - The Past

A shot in the dark. That is the only thing I could hear at that time. As my vision grew cloudier and my body grew colder, visions of a past long lost in space appear.

It was a cold winter morning in New York, 1945, and I was standing at the train station, waiting for her arrival. I felt like I waited for hours but then I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around and looked at the beautiful amber eyes of my dear wife. She came back from a trip to her hometown, a weird town named 'Forks'.

I've never quite liked the weather there and her parents never quite liked me, but we met at the hospital where she worked at that time. We didn't click right at the start, she was quite cold to me at first, but my perseverance paid off. Her walls fell down and she came to appreciate my company. We fell in love gradually.

"Hello darling", she said to me. I responded to that by wrapping my hands around her and kissing her right there. She was so flustered and her rosy cheeks warmed my heart in that cold weather. "I missed you" I told her. "Me too", she responded. After taking her bags, we walked to our car where I put them in the trunk. in the car we talked about her trip, her parents, her old colleagues etc. We then made it home.

So happy that day was for me because at the end of it, she told me "Jonas, I'm pregnant.". I never wanted it to end. Alas It wasn't to pass.

During the next five months following those happy news, her health started to deteriorate. Her body became weaker and weaker. One of the numerous visits at the hospital showed again the uselessness of our struggle, as the doctors were still stumped about this mysterious sickness.
