It was the third day of training, and if what I have heard is correct then we have to complete indivisual training in one month the training as team by missions will start and continue for two weeks, I need to hurry up and finish the first manual's attacks.
"Hey Zack" Lillian appeared in her human form when we reached the training modules.
"Hey, so lets start" I said.
"I have got to help you in someway so, first observe me execute the attack and then do it with me" she said.
"Okay, so lets start."
She executed the first verse of dragon manual, 'The Counter', so perfectly it felt as if I was seeing a dancer at work.
"Did you memorize the stances?" She asked.
"More or less I think." Then I tried the stances only to trip and fall again.
"You sloth, if you are so slow how will you support the rest of team and not be a baggage." she said "You are not using your observation and the knowledge in yourself together, you still view the two as different." she said correcting my stance sliding her hand down my thigh, positioning my hand and grabbing my wrist and positioning it. "Now try it again this time use both your knowledge and the observation."
"Mhm" I remembered the fluid movements of Lillian and tried to imitate them, front leg forward then extend your dominant hand forward while directing the beast energy through your body and into the sword, and then disperse it in form of a shield continuously until you are able to convert the shape into a sphere. "AHHHHHHHHH!!" I shouted as it was the first extracting energy from my core, then I started to feel dizzy but didn't faint.
"Very good, you are almost there , the others are probably still going through their manual but if you are able to use the advantage of having the information being directly implanted into your brain then probably you will be to catch with those nobles." she said signaling me to do one more time. "We need you to master the energy extraction, c'mon" she shouted as I stood up and started practicing again.
"Hufff-Hufff" I was exhausted when I heard the bell ring signaling that it was over for today. "Finally, It is over" I headed to my room directly skipping dinner after telling Ava, and went to sleep.
"Hey, Ava" Elaine said appearing behind her.
"Yeah , Elaine"
"Where is Zack" Elaine asked looking around.
"Oh he was exhausted so headed to the room."
"Who told you this?" Elaine asked Ava.
"Oh Zack came and told me."
"Of course he told you didn't even think abut me that bastard of a captain, anyways where is the fourth member of our team, I haven't ever seen him around ever, is he invisible."
"No he was summoned to his family after he was selected in the first round for some reasons." Ava said, finally shedding light on matter of Noah.
"I see" finishing her dinner and heading towards the food counter.
"A little hungry are we?" Ava said pulling Elaine's leg.
"What do you mean by that" she said storming of towards my room, "Zack you there"
"Wait a Minute" I said as I was inspecting the changes due to mastering my energy release, I had muscles and cuts on my body I was bulked up.
"I am in" She said opening the door and seeing my upper body, fortunately I wasn't naked.
"What are you doing?, Close the door!" I shouted.
"Well, Well, aren't you the bodybuilder" She said trying to touch me.
"Why are you here", I said jumping back a little bit.
"I thought you would be hungry so I brought you some food, but clearly you re not."Elaine said making a sad face.
"Just give it to me." I said, but then as I moved forward to take the food I collapsed.
"Zack" She said As I fell onto her.
"Boy, you are tired as you just mastered the energy release, it was indeed a feat to master energy release in one day but it appears your body isn't ready for the process so take rest"
"Who are you, and where do you come from." I asked The mysterious voice.
"As I said before, you have to find out on your own, but if you want to I will tell that we are closely related" The voice said as it disappeared and I completely immersed into my sleep.
The next morning I woke up and saw Elaine asleep next to me, I slided my hand through her hair.
"Huh, Zack you bastard you woke up, What did you do to be that exhausted." She said hugging me.
"Oh, this is new but thank you for the care Elaine."
"You bastard why would you over work yourself." she said.
"I am sorry, but now you should go and rest too okay." I said to Elaine.
And After this I was able to master the first part of manual with the help of Lillian and the manual, now the festival was here, it was to celebrate the first victory against the demons.
"Finally we got a break it's been like forever we went out of workshop" said Elaine playing with her hair.
"It's because of the festival if I am not wrong" said Ava.
"So what are you both going to do on festival" I said.
"I am going to my family for the festival" Ava said happily.
"She gets very happy when it comes to her family, don't you think Elaine"
"I don't know that very well, but what are you going to this festival" she asked.
"Maybe stay at the dorms, train more" I regretted as soon as I said the words.
"Really Zack you are starting to get on my nerves, from the last two weeks you have done nothing but train do you even know that?"
"No that is not it….." I said.
"Then what." she asked narrowing her eyes.
"Would you like to go to festival with me...." I asked Elaine.
"Finally, you idiot." she said "Yes"
"Okay then, lets go tomorrow evening." I said.
"But you can't come with me like the way you are now so come with me"
"Bye Ava" and the Elaine dragged me out of there.
"So where are we going Elaine" I asked.
"To get you a wardrobe" said Elaine and lead me to a shop where there was a ton of expensive stuff.
"Really its not necessary" I regretted it the moment I said it. The punch in my stomach was so strong that the pain subsided after half an hour.
"So want to go now"
"YES MA'AM anywhere, even to hell" I said.
And about half a day later I was loaded with stuff that was as expensive as hell. I am wondering what will others think when they see her with me during the festival. What if anybody recognizes me, she will be in trouble. Then why is she doing this.
