Walker saw the continent whale nearing even close to the gargantuan squid. Both races had sizes that could be called too much to handle. They were able to grow even larger too. For the continent whale, it was still young. The gargantuan squid was barely an adult heading towards becoming a proper elder.
They knew all too well that their size was grander than others and that they held a unique place in the ecosystem of the water elemental planes. They consumed a lot. They needed a lot of water mana. They worked through various pets of the elemental planes to grow as such. Yet, they were still not what they could be.
The fact that they had not realized they as two races had been holding one another back because of their natural instincts proved to them that they might not really be the intelligent races that they believed themselves to be.
