At the halfway point of Vesuvius Dake volcano, 220 meters underground at address number 1248, Pompeii Town.
A small cavern of several dozen square meters has been excavated, with quite a bit of equipment already set up.
On one side of the equipment, several slender pipes, each with a diameter of over ten centimeters, extend forward, disappearing after passing through a sealed wall—the other side of the wall leads to the heart of Vesuvius Dake volcano.
Richard appeared here, checked the status of the equipment, and nodded.
The equipment installed here was a geothermal power generation machine, based on the principle of using the high temperature inside the volcano's heart to produce steam, driving a turbine to generate electricity.
From an energy perspective, it's about converting thermal energy into mechanical energy, which is then converted into electrical energy.
