After a long moment, Jesse Rivers nodded: "Yes."
Then, they heard him say lightly: "Tell him two more things."
"Okay."
"First, the Shaw family owes a debt of gratitude to Uncle Hughes and Aunt Lewis, so naturally, we won't annihilate them completely. I'll keep the villa I bought for him and his sister. When he gets out of prison, there'll be a job waiting for him that will be enough to support himself."
Jesse Rivers nodded, knowing that while Mr. Shaw might seem heartless, he never wavered when it came to righteousness.
He always thought of the deceased elders of the Hughes family, and naturally wouldn't mistreat their descendants.
