Aiden Shaw noticed something was off with her. He covered the back of her hand with his own. "What's wrong?"
She glanced back at him. "Before, I might have misunderstood."
Aiden Shaw didn't speak. He looked straight into her eyes, waiting for her to go on.
Tiana Thorne added, "Great-Aunt is a good person. The whole fake Tiana thing probably has nothing to do with her."
"You were only suspicious before. How come you're so sure now?"
Tiana pressed her lips together. Some things, heaven's secrets can't be revealed; she had no way to tell her Fourth Brother directly.
Because when she saw Great-Aunt close her eyes for the last time, her mom was right beside her, like she was seeing her off.
She suddenly remembered something The Grand Elder had once said: if a person has never done any great evil in their life, then when they leave this world, the one closest to them will be there to see them off.
She sensed Great-Aunt's death, and her mom was there.
