Because she was so exhausted, Ling Yueyue took a shower and then lay down on the bed and fell asleep.
Huo Junmo also rested for a bit, and when it was time, he left.
During these three days in Jiangcheng, Huo Junmo seemed very busy, going out early and coming back late. But every mealtime he would call to remind Ling Yueyue to eat. Every time Ling Yueyue went out, he would have the nanny follow her, and he'd send two inconspicuous bodyguards to stay close and protect her so she'd feel safe.
These days Huo Junmo was so swamped with company matters that he was dizzy from it all, while Ling Yueyue was happily playing with Tiantian, having long since thrown everything about Ling's father and Ling's mother to the back of her mind.
