Getting involved with the youngest prince of the beastmen race is not impossible but there is a higher percentage of getting schemed at where they had to pay more than half to be able to leave safely. This young prince is only kind to those he likes and clearly, he didn't seem to like them that much seeing that he didn't protect them when the new born Elemental Emperor had frozen them. Neither did he ask his brother to help melt them, they had seen those black flames protecting the students of F-Class.
