Tessa Caldwell shyly raised her eyes and looked at the man beside her.
She babbled on and explained, "This... this... he wasn't something I bought. That damn Felicity Ford used me to win a thousand bucks, then promised to give me five hundred, and ended up buying this thing with it. I'm just about to faint!"
Faye just looked at her, his eyes deep, seemingly not intending to discuss this topic further.
Tessa felt a bit surprised, "You don't even have an opinion on this!"
She thought he would certainly take the chance to mock her a bit, otherwise, why would he be called the sharp-tongued guy?
Faye raised an eyebrow slightly, "Did I ask you to talk?"
Tessa: "..."
This was totally unexpected, like hitting a pillow with a punch, so futile!
"Wanna try it?" Faye asked lightly.
Such a calm acceptance, and he's even suggesting she try it? Totally shocked, Tessa exclaimed, "What?"
