Tessa Caldwell wasn't about to give up and reached out to snatch it.
Anticipating her move, Faye raised her hand higher. Tessa, not quite tall enough, jumped, but no matter how she jumped or tried to grab, she just couldn't reach the contract in Faye's hand.
She was so frustrated she almost collapsed to the floor.
"Stop messing around, be good."
His head-patting gesture and sighing expression made Tessa despise herself even more.
She glared at Faye: "Faye, you, how can you be like this? You're despicable, shameless, it's like your morals were fed to the dogs, you... you actually deceive women!"
Faye tilted his head to look at Tessa and said amusedly, "You can say whatever makes you happy. When we signed, I told you, I would care for you, pamper you, and be with you for life, tolerating all your bad tempers."

But at this moment, hearing it made Tessa really just want to cough up blood.
