Aaron Channing widened his eyes, stunned for a while.
There was a moment of silence, then a heavy sigh. He slightly lowered his head, as if considering whether or not to tell Tessa, or perhaps thinking about how to say it.
Tessa was afraid he wouldn't tell her.
So she added, "If you don't tell me, I won't force you, but the trouble you've caused me will ensure that I never forgive you."
For some reason, she had no good feelings towards Aaron, not just because of Cian.
Perhaps, as Aaron had said, he once did something that wronged her, which made her loathe him deeply even if she couldn't remember.
Aaron said, "I really don't know how you lost your memory."
Tessa said, "I wasn't asking you about that. I said I want to know about Faye and me... which is Chuck, about Chuck and I, how much do you know?"
Aaron, just as Tessa thought, didn't hold back anything and told her everything.
